  • Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion – The Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion is more than just a beautiful Civil War-era home. Completed in 1862, it was a home of many firsts. It was the first to have a bathtub and working toilet installed inside the home. As the home of a prominent state senator, it was also the host of many lavish gatherings of local and state politicians. Although there aren't many Tuscaloosa homes for sale that are as large as the mansion, many are just as beautiful.

  • The RiverwalkThe Tuscaloosa Riverwalk is one of the most scenic areas in the city. The current length of the Riverwalk is approximately four and a half miles.   • The Art Walk/First Friday – The Arts Council is dedicated to keeping the arts and entertainment industry alive and flourishing in Tuscaloosa. The organization manages both the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center and the beautiful Bama Theatre. They also host the local First Friday event as a way to keep local residents in the know about what is going on in downtown Tuscaloosa.
