Bio

I am Kim Harwood with Hamner Real Estate in Tuscaloosa, AL.  I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and raised my family here as well. I am married to Richard and we have three children (Taylor, Madison, and Sam). Richard and I are “Hunny” and “Happy” to Charlie and Bennett. The two cutest humans on earth.

I am a worker. Some people just are and I am one of those people.  I worked for over 30 years working for families. Taught school,  opened a school, and sold a school  (so I also  know how to run a business)   “Being a real estate agent” just made sense for me.

Trust is huge in what I do. Homes – in most cases – are the biggest investment people will make. I know what it is like to need a dollar, earn a dollar and what it is like to finally be able to spend that dollar. That is why helping my clients make the right choice is the only option and my biggest priority.

Real Estate has truly become a passion for me. Building relationships with clients is one of my favorite aspects of the entire process. I feel like I have a gift of intuition with people and families. I love getting to know my clients and  families and helping them find that perfect fit. There is no better feeling then walking into a house and knowing that I just found their future home.

There are so many seasons in our life that change our real estate needs. I want to walk with my clients through the seasons and help them get what they need whether that be buying or selling. I want to work for my clients   in a way that not only gets them what they need at the best price but the process has been a pleasant experience and  they feel that new season has begun.
