Bio

Having lived in Tuscaloosa since 1976, I have found this is a wonderful community to call “home.” Having been one of the top five agents in Tuscaloosa real estate sales since 1985, I feel that I have the experience to provide you and your family the services needed to assist with any of your real estate needs.

After having worked as a social worker and as an instructor in Human Development at The University of Alabama, I began my full-time real estate career with Hamner Real Estate in 1984. My background was perfect since I have always felt that real estate is the “people” business and not the “house” business.

I have had the opportunity to know Tuscaloosa in many venues other than housing. I have worked on many civic boards including Tuscaloosa Junior League, YMCA, Theatre Tuscaloosa, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Tuscaloosa Adopt A School and other fundraising boards. I have served on PTA boards for 9 years and have been president of football and cheerleader booster clubs. I am an active member of First United Methodist Church. I understand how important your community and your children’s schools are to making Tuscaloosa your home if you are new to Tuscaloosa.

I was honored by the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors as Realtor of the Year, Salesperson of the Year and received the Cooperative Spirit Award. I have also served on the Tuscaloosa Board of Realtors.
